Lightweight mildly-slouch tees are my go-to warm weather wear. They can get dressed up for work without looking too dressed up, and they are so easy to casual out for after-hours. I wore the tee with a slim skirt for an office day, then changed into shorts for comfort! no heels running around later on.

I'm a big fan of light, slouchy tees too! The J.Crew ones are the best! I am absolutely obsessed with that monochromatic look! It's amazing!!!
ReplyDeletei do love my slouchy tees! i wear mine all the time to work and they makes my outfit a little comfier. i need more.
ReplyDeleteLove the striped skirt! Also, I have T's that go with just about anything and I love dressing them up!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so does this mean I have to invest in some J.Crew tees? Because it's got the perfect amount of slouch to it. Stunning as always, Lisa! In both outfits.
ReplyDeleteI personally love J.Crew tees - the Vintage style - they sell sim Factory versions too, in a boatload of colors.

ReplyDeleteI love the Orange-Red Color of that tee. I have a tee in that Color too. I like how you styled it both times. In the first outfit I love the Stripped Skirt & Purse & of course the 2-toned Bubble Necklace. And those Shorts are Sassy. Orange looks awesome with Turquoise. I must give this color combo a try, myself.
ReplyDeleteHave a Great Weekend, Lisa, =)
I'm all about tshirts in the Summer! I love the ones from Everlane.

This is a good color on you, I especially love the first outfit with the stripes and leopard shoes!

This Ever Evolving Life
yummy, yummy, yummy orange!! I love this- I can never quite work the simple tee with a pencil skirt- maybe my torso is just wrong for it (or perhaps I just need a perfect tee...)- you look stunning darlin'!
ReplyDeleteI do the half-tuck with the pencil skirts, kind of cheating when it comes to looking neat.
DeleteI love this look! Especially the first one, it's just so perfect - the orange, the purse with one orange stripe, the leopard heels, everything! Orange really suits you, makes you all glowy!
ReplyDeleteWhen it's this hot, it's A-line skirts I reach for. Or my Khaleesi maxi dress, but that one's slightly more of an arsepain since it requires a strapless bra.
Love these no fuss looks. Definitely perfect for summer!

Nice outfits! I love t-shirts!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, and you look fantastic in it. The stripes on the skirt click nicely with the stripes on the bag. It's casual but still elegant. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the skirt mixed with the animal print pumps!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! So bright and cheery. Glad to see you got that bag!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful use of orange Lisa. You pull off this color beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThe tee looks so comfy yet polished with the pencil skirt!

What a great transition! You rock the one color from head to toe trend.
ReplyDeleteI do wear t shirts to work but usually layer them with a jacket.
I LOVE that top with the skirt! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOH my goooosh I love both of these outfits! J. Crew modern red is my favorite, such a pretty orange-y red. I always love the outfits you put together too, classy and unique.
ReplyDeleteAfter eyeing your Clarks wedges before, I really think I must buy them! How do you think the sizing runs? I'm either a 7 1/2 or an 8 (8 in J. Crew retail shoes, 7 1/2 in a lot of other brands), so I'm not sure which to order...
I'm also a 7.5 in most shoes and 8 in JC shoes. I got the Clarks in 7.5 and they fit TTS for me. Plus they are really really comfy, I wore them around town right out of the box!
DeleteScarves and a cardigan here since we don't ever really get that warm!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I love both of these outfits! I couldn't agree with you more about slouchy tees for summer. They are great for transitioning from work to going out just by switching up accessories. Love the leopard heels with the skirt outfit too!
ReplyDeleteI love the top with both the skirt and shorts! Great pulled together look.

ReplyDeleteI love the full on orange. We were both wearing orange! I love your pencil skirt, tee and shorts.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike, you know ...
DeleteOh, that skirt!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love slouchy tees in the summer, too!
ReplyDeleteFabulous t shirt and I love it with the shorts :)
ReplyDeleteBoth these looks are amazing, just loving the burst of colour!
ReplyDeleteI love the monochromatic element of both outfits! The shoes in the first pic are very lady like but the leopard paired with the stripes is very now.

So, so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfits and the perfect transition from work to play! I love the one tortoiseshell and turquoise bracelet you're sporting today too. It looks lovely against the red/orange color.
ReplyDeletesuper cute!! i love this! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the leopard shoes with the red! Very clever chic styling! Wish I had bought that bag ... I waited and it sold out.
ReplyDeleteThe bag fits loads more than it looks like it could, but it's got big ole zippers!
DeleteI love this skirt! I have it too! Love how you paired it with an orange shirt! I must try that! Love your adorable blog!

DeleteLOVE the striped skirt! It looks great. I just picked up a black and white one ( maternity), but haven't quite figured out how to wear it yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying very hard not to make bad orange jokes here but they're all that my brain is coming up with right now. Haha! I love a simple shirt and skirt ensemble, especially in bright colors like orange! :D

DeleteLoving all the orange. You pull off this bright color well.
ReplyDeleteTwo divine outfits! I love them :)
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are perfection! Love the pop of turquoise! I haven't tried J Crew vintage tees, I am sure they are super comfy. Have a great weekend!

I love the statement necklace with the evening outfit! Of course I'm partial to pencil skirts, so I like how you made the casual tee more work appropriate as well! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't get away with soft tees for work but I love the double orange look you've got going!
ReplyDeletethe colors here are AMAZING. i love all the bright tangerine + turq bangles!

Love the v-neck shirt! It is the most wearable piece everyone should have in their closet :)
ReplyDeleteGosh girl you so got the hang of it. Styling I mean. Great combinations.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I remember a combination of you and think "Oh I have something like that in the closet... perhaps I should combine it with..." Before I have reached my closet... pffff away is the thought. Hopeless. That is what I am. LOL
What a great switch up!! I love both looks so much :) Stylish and beautiful as ever.
