Rockin' it with Rocksbox
If you've followed my blog or IG account at all, you know that I love my accessories, especially my jewelry. But as I like to try new trends all the time, I don't really want to spend a ton of money on each piece. So when the stylish folks at Rocksbox asked if I would like to try their jewelry membership service, I was all over it.
Think of Rocksbox as your Netflix for jewelry. First you take a style survey so the Rocksbox stylists have an idea of your tastes in jewelry. Then for a flat monthly fee of $19 (which includes shipping both ways), you receive a Rocksbox package with three pieces of designer jewelry - you can hold onto those three pieces and wear them for as long as you like, or you can send them back and get another package with another three pieces to try.
If you love a piece and want to keep it, you can purchase it for a discounted Rocksbox member price. Just hold onto the piece you want to keep and when you send the rest of the package back, the price of the item you're keeping will be deducted from your credit card.
My first Rocksbox contained earrings from Gorjana, a necklace from Jules Smith and a bracelet from House of Harlow. And I had so much fun playing around with the pieces that I had to wear them all at the same time.
One of the things I'm liking so far from Rocksbox is that when you receive your package, they clearly list the brand and items you're receiving, plus the regular retail and Rocksbox member pricing. You can also provide feedback on the jewelry you've received so the stylists can hone in on your specific tastes. You can also cancel your membership at any time, and the monthly fee includes insurance for normal wear and tear on the jewelry pieces. The pieces you receive in each package have all been thoroughly checked and cleaned, so everything looks good as new. For more details, you can check out their FAQ.
If you sign up now, you can receive your first month's membership for only $9 with code "beyourbrightest." And Rocksbox has a neat referral plan where you can earn credits towards you monthly member fees or purchases - so pretty please use mine here!

Thanks, girl - me too!
DeleteCool service! Those earrings are so cute! :) I'm more of a "wear the same 6 pieces of jewelry every single day" kind of person, so this probably isn't for me, but I feel like it'd be a fun gift!
ReplyDeleteOoh good idea, it totally would be a cool gift!
DeleteI don't often love many of these subscription boxes because they give you a lot of items you may not like, but this totally solves that problem! I love getting new pieces and wear them a ton... but then I get bored of them. Totally checking this out.

I agree, thanks, girl!
DeleteI think Rocksbox is amazing, they have some great pieces!
ReplyDeleteWe're on the same wavelength, girl! ;o)
DeleteThis is such a great idea and so many pieces are things I'd like!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean - I probably don't want to commit $50 or 100 on a new piece of jewelry I may get tired of, but to essentially rent it out for as long as I want - cool!
DeleteThanks for the outfit idea, I will look to replicate, really like how you put your outfits together. Am not much into jewelry however, but you definitely make me want to start mixing up my jewelry (am notorious for wearing the same pieces over and over again lol)
