Navy Blazer, Midi Rings

distressed scallops

Simple does it with the outfit pieces today, so of course I had to pile on the rings and bracelets. As much as I adore the midi ring trend going on now, I am still amazed every time I wear them that they actually stay on my fingers - though I may have temporarily lost a ring or two while digging through a jean pocket, it's close quarters in there!

I hope you have a lovely weekend, ladies and enjoy some good crisp autumn weather while you still can - we broke out the electric blanket and turned on the heat recently, and the frosty mornings are some not-so-awesome reminders that bone chilling winter is right around the corner. Brrr is close.

  2. Still not got the heating on here or broken out the winter coats yet. Yay for that I say.

    Really like your shoes :)

  3. So cute! I love midi rings, though I lost the two I had that featured prominent baubles on them. :( I have a plain silver band one that I wear daily!

    1. Yeah, I may stick to plain midi rings - though these pearl ones are fun - they seem to get in the way and I keep fearing I'm going to lose something!

  5. I have no idea whether or not my last comment went through. If it did, feel free to just delete this one. I love your site, and I don't comment nearly as often as I'd like (blame the comment system not jiving with my work computer when I read at lunch). You have a great, approachable style, and I love this outfit! Specifically the fact that the collar on your blazer matches your shoes. Love it :)

  6. Sorry, collar on the shirt, not the blazer.

  7. Personally I think the idea of midi rings is odd, but I have to say, they do look quite stylish on you.

    1. I know what you mean, I've seen some gals totally stacked up, and I'm like, how do you get through the day like that? ;o) I like the trend but I'm still trying to get used to them myself.

  10. So that is a midi ring! New to me. I looked through all your new posts and chose this one to comment as I like this one best (not saying anything bad about the other outfits at all).
