The only way the Madewell sahara jacket looks good on me is if I belt it, so here I am again trying to reign in the wide body. I actually really like it this way. However, there's no way to squish together a lot of material without appearing slightly unkept, so I am trying to cultivate the whole I'm-too-cool-to-care-I'm-rumbled look here. (Yes, I am an oxymoron here - trying to look like I'm not trying).
Wearing the olive green hues again - this has been a favorite color of mine so far this fall. What colors do you find yourself wearing a lot so far these cooler months?
Jacket: Madewell sahara short-sleeve (worn here - sim belted, in navy, pricey 3/4-sleeve)
Top: Lands' End gingham poplin (worn here - sim, sim, large print)
Jeans: Old Navy sweetheart distressed (worn here - sim, deal, high-rise)
Belt: Asos (sim, sim)
Bracelet: J.Crew mint spike (sim)
Rings: F21 geo set
Shoes: Seychelles ring in the new year (worn here - sim, peep-toe, ankle boots)
Bag: Dooney & Bourke equestrian (worn here - this season's version, sim on sale, deal)
I love the color combination!

Thanks, girl! Pink and olive just seem to work together.
DeleteI really like this look on you. It looks very effortless, regardless of your process to get it that way! I love olive green. I would wear it every day, if I could. It is my favorite in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of olive green myself this fall - it goes with almost everything, I think.
DeleteI love this outfit! You don't look like you tried hard at all, I was literally like, "Ah, that's effortless," so well played! ;) Also, your hair is looking very pretty! Did you have highlights put in or somethin'? *scratches head*
ReplyDeleteI have been MASSIVELY obsessed with that wine red/purple colour that is everywhere. That and brown, blush and, weirdly for me, BLACK. Autumn commeth, and thus my brain breaketh, as Shakespeare might have said... ;)
You'd look awesome in that deep wine color, especially paired with brown or blush or black!
DeleteAnd yes, I have highlights, though I've been growing my hair out, so instead of highlights, I guess they can be considered the "ombre" effect now, hehe.
That jacket is so cute, I'm loving it belted!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteAre you kidding? This looks great!
ReplyDeleteI too am wearing a lot of olive green. I just love this color and all of the military influenced jackets. Thanks for the color inspiration. For some reason, I tend to pair olive with black and that can get boring. Peach looks so pretty with the olive.

I agree, it's a good combo and softens the fatigue hue and keeps the pink from being too girly.
DeleteI'm loving olive as well! It's gorgeous, the jacket.
