As far as outfits go, this is a pretty simple ensemble for me. No rainbow-hued blast of color or riot of patterns or loading of statement necklaces this go-around. It's kind of nice to be able to streamline a bit as temps rise and the last thing we feel like doing is piling stuff on. Just wait until it's July and all I'll be doing is throw on a cotton knit dress, the barest of sandals and calling it a day.

I'm all for a simple look, and this one is perfect. That jacket is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteWould love for you to check on my 30 for 30 challenge. Thanks so much.

I agree, with the comments so far. An outfit that comes together easily but looks great is really the best, right!? You look so fresh and ready for the warm weather!
ReplyDeleteI feel you! In fact, last summer I think my blog was super boring. Dress and sandals! Dress and flats! Dress and heels! lol.

Wearing a cute dress sometimes feels like cheating when getting dresses, doesn't it, because it's so easy? ;o)
DeleteLove the bright jacket with the grey tee and jeans! Simple outfits are often the most comfortable outfits, and the ones we feel happiest in :) It's nice to switch things up a little now and then :)
ReplyDeleteAway From Blue
After a winter of LOTS of layers, I'd say we all earned a simplified outfit or two. And you look "simply chic", so mission accomplished :-)
ReplyDeleteCheers!

DeleteIt is funny but lately I have been against wearing accessories. I don't know what is wrong with me. I should probably see the Dr.
ReplyDeleteI love this simple, casual, chic look. Exactly what I'm thinking about lately.

A nice neck and collarbone often doesn't need any accessorizing!

Such a pretty color, love the mint!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to go nuts with colour and accessories and everything, and then sometimes it's great just to go simple. You look great either way!
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm not loading up with accessories though, I kind of feel like I'm missing something!
DeleteI love this! I want to try this look with my Vera Wang for Kohls Boyfriend jeans.
ReplyDeleteYour jeans are so flattering on you that they do not even look like Boyfriend jeans. They fit better than the Boyfriend style.
