This mint/seafoam hue may be one of my favorite colors for spring (a nice break from the J.Crew-deemed "modern red" that's been my go-to forever it's just a break though, we've got too much of a history together). And to me, this milky green just works so well with blue and white stripes. I will likely wear this combination out!
What color(s) are you loving to wear this spring?
Jacket: Zara frayed structured (sim, sim, scalloped)
Top: J.Crew factory layering v-neck (sim lighter, scoop)
Skirt: J.Crew factory natural stripe (sim, pricey, fun luxe)
Belt: Asos (sim, lighter, luxe)
Necklace: via Ebay (sim, single strand, triple strand)
Bracelets: SweetAuburnStudio via Etsy (worn here - sim, sim, sim)
Shoes: Michael Kors hamilton (worn here - sim stacked heel, simpler)
Clutch: Kate Spade (worn here - sim, sim, deal)
I love this outfit! You look so fresh! I especially love the cognac bow belt with the striped skirt.
ReplyDeleteI've just purchased the Boden lightweight v-neck in this colour as they sent me a voucher and even in my regular size I can still wear them with my bump. In fact it arrived today and is under my desk :)
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely Lisa, very spring-like and jolly!
I'm really liking Boden's new warm weather offerings - I'm awaiting a few other things to arrive by post soon!
DeleteSeafoam definitely reminds me of spring! I've been going for a lot of yellow lately!
ReplyDeleteCome to Kansas and dress me. STAT Lisa!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty combo here, it's perfect for spring and I'm so loving your jacket too.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty color combo on you! How do these J.Crew tees hold up? I've been eyeing them for a while since there are so many pretty colors, but I'm afraid they won't hold up in the wash!
ReplyDeleteI think they hold up pretty well in terms of color and I've had no problems with holes developing or anything, but I find that they shrink a bit after washing, so I always order a size up. JCF always has promos and good sales, so you can likely snag a few tees for cheap to try out.
DeleteThat's a great color combination. I just got the J.Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Colorblock Stripe (which is navy and white), so you've given me another idea on how to style it. Now if it would just get out of the 50's here! Cheers - Jennifer
ReplyDeleteI'm in Phoenix this week and it's going to be 99 today! Yikes!
DeleteLOVE the stripes! I'm totally going to copy you and buy that skirt, too ;-)
ReplyDeleteCheers!

I don't think you'd regret buying this skirt!
DeleteI love this combination! Stripes are always a favorite, but with this bright and cheery shirt, it's even better!
ReplyDeleteSince we still don't have a real spring yet here I'm stuck in Autumn colours. I like bold colour though, so even in the spring summer I stay away from pastels.
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of foot ware.
bisous

This is about as pastel-y as I get - I usually look pretty washed out in pale pinks and lavender especially.
DeleteSo cute, I love how you mixed the mint and hot pink!

I adore mint and I wear it all year round! This looks great with the stripes!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I LOVE this outfit! That mint green looks so pretty on you. Love it with the stripes! I have a belt just like that in black.
ReplyDeleteOooh I totally agree! These pieces look perfect together!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your bare arms and legs! Spring is slowly coming here, but I'll be in tights for at least another month. I suppose I should start wearing more spring-y colours now though...
ReplyDeleteWith a pup, tights are not my friend. Loads of dog hair and scratches!
DeletePretty, pretty! I love mint for spring, but I'm still hanging on to coral with all my might.

Coral is so pretty!
DeleteLovely combination! I agree that it is a refreshing change of pace from the blue and modern red combo. Also, your bracelet is so unique. What a great find on Etsy!
ReplyDeleteExcept I stab myself with the bracelet all the time!
DeleteWeirdly, I am loving grey for spring. And florals, of course - how groundbreaking of me! ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, that bracelet is so cool! It's like preppy steampunk on your arm!
That would be about as steampunk as I could pull off!
DeleteThis shade of green suits you well. I love it with that stunning necklace!

I love this colour and it looks so great on you. I recently bought a cardigan in mint green. I adore this whole look.
ReplyDeleteCute outift. I always like bright colours, they suit me best. I think lime is my favourite.

I love how the necklace has that pop of blue stones on one side. It's very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI bought a similar bow belt at Target that was like the Anthropologie one they did a few years back. The bow belts add a nice little touch to outfits.
Have a great weekend,
Stacey
