Coral Herringbone

coral herringbone

While everyone else seems to be celebrating the end of the school year and/or going on holiday, I'm entering one of my busiest months of work, so ... bleh. The good stuff: I have some fun international travel coming up in the next few weeks. The inconvenient stuff: I also have a lot of "life" things I need to deal with right now that is getting pushed to the side (nothing terrible going on, life's just generally been busier than usual). Bad stuff: When times get busy, my try-to-be-healthy habits tend to go down the tube. I'm trying to reel in the mindless eating right now, but lots of work and not enough carbs makes for one cranky Lisa - at least my clothes can look happy!

  1. You pull off a head-to-toe coral monochrome look to perfection, while still mixing prints. The jewelry is stunning, as usual. =))

    1. This skirt is one of the few items I ever purchased for full price at J.Crew - and I don't regret it!

  5. Love that skirt so much! And I also get cranky when stressed, but I've found it super helpful to absolutely not ever compromise my lunch break and take a walk or do some quick exercise during it. Huge mood/energy boost and reduces stress a TON for me. Plus, then I feel less bad about stress eating.

    1. I've been trying to exercise for at least 20-30 minutes every day - it's been hard lately to fit time in, but it def helps me take my mind off things for a bit when I can.

    1. No big secret places - Amsterdam and Paris - my biggest challenge will be packing carry-on only, ugh!
