Granted I blog as a hobby, but I kind of feel like I haven't been a very good blogger in these past few weeks. Life has been a wee bit more hectic than usual - work, travel, work, travel, plus I'm moving soon! - and some things that I enjoy doing but aren't a priority tend to fall to the wayside a little bit. So please bear with me for a few more weeks as I attempt to juggle the regular everyday with packing my life up in boxes. Spots and stripes make it easy to get dressed, and of course, my fave no-fail shoes.
Sweater: J.Crew factory charley in pom-pom (worn here - sim short-sleeve, sim, other colors)
Skirt: Joe Fresh stripe ponte (sim thinner stripes, mostly B&W, poufy mini)
Necklace: Purple Peridot clear crystal (worn here - the original, sim, sim)
Bracelets: Rachel Leigh (sim gold, green), c/o Your Bijoux Box (sim)
Shoes: Audrey Brooke via DSW mary (worn here - sim, slingback & higher)
Bag: J.Crew claremont (worn here - same mini, pricey, steal)
Love the print mixing with the stripes and spots! Such a nice combination. That's a really pretty skirt :)

This is such a great outfit! I have the same sweater and I love the pairing with the striped skirt. Thanks again for the inspiration! Good luck with everything including your move!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait until the move is over. A few more weeks ...

I agree with Frannie's comment, real life always comes first when it's a hobby. Nice to have easy outfits and no-fail shoes to fall back on. Hope your move goes well!
ReplyDeleteThanks much!
DeleteLove the spots and stripes!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that it is refreshing to hear someone who is such a great blogger say they are struggling to do it when life gets hectic. I am having the same issue this month and boy do I feel like a slacker. Ah well - that's life, right! No biggie!

It is what it is, I guess. Reg life comes first!
DeleteFabulous look - oh you never cease to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite hectic here too. I barely have time for anything, but like everything it will passs-
You travel quite a bit for work and I'm amazed you still pull together stylish outfit posts from your different locales. You know how to time manage for sure! ;o)

I'm sure the question everyone asks themselves when they need to pack to move is "where did I get all this stuff?!"
DeleteI wouldn't have noticed you've been a bad blogger if you hadn't said. Now you have mentioned it I still don't agree ;-)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Louise! I guess I notice because I haven't written longer posts or gone to check out other blogs as frequently with lack of time - I appreciate your kind words though!
DeleteLove how you did this look Lisa....it's so fun yet so polished all at the same time!

Love the stripes and the bows on your shoes.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! And don't worry about blogging...we will be here when you have time. I am always amazed at how much stuff I accumulate and moving always helps me clear out things that I didn't even knew I own.

The trash has been overfilling lately - not with big things per se, but there is a ton of just junk we tend to just store away in drawers and closets.
Deleteeveryone is a better blogger than i am! i'm impressed at your time you must spend blogging! each post seems well thought out and the pictures are always perfect :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Amber! I actually feel like a bit of a slacker since I haven't been writing much and haven't had the time to go visit other blogs as often. The photo part is the easiest - I've gotta get dressed anyways, I can spare 5 minutes to take some pics!
DeleteI am loving this outfit. Of course I've been crushing on the pom pom sweater forever and mixing it up with a striped skirt? what could be better?
ReplyDeleteChic on the Cheap
