Keeping it short (like my skirt!) this Friday because I just had a thought ... is it really already time to think about the holidays? Like I should be looking up recipes for turkey day and booking tickets for Christmas. Scouring the Internet for gift ideas and new champagnes for toasting. And pre-stretching out pants for epic holiday eating. Am I late already? Wowie, where has the year gone - getting older yet ...
Dress: Asos lapel wrap mini (sim, sim sleeved, pricey)
Top: H&M (worn here - sim, sim)
Necklaces: The Rock and Feather via Etsy (steal, sim)
Bracelets: ON (sim), Asos (sim), c/o Style Lately (sim, pricey)

Those sleeveless lapels are so fab - I love this look! And those shoes / that bag - I want both!! xx
ReplyDeleteThe bag is super-cheap ... I used it as my airplane bag and fit a ton of stuff into it, plus was able to throw it around with no guilt!
DeleteEnabling here!
DeleteWonderful outfit, love it! So chic. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun outfit, and yes, this year has flown by!
ReplyDeleteyou look great here, love the stripes addition to the outfit!

I feel wrinkles coming in around my eyes and hair whitening as I type! Eeps!
DeleteI love how you layered the stripe top underneath! I really can't think about the holidays yet...it's too soon!

The Tiny Heart
T-minus 11 days until Halloween. Then ... full-on holiday decor immersion at the stores!
DeleteSimple and chic! Absolutely love it! The dress fits you impeccably.
ReplyDeleteNo! No mention of holidays! Panic attack coming on. I love the outfit. That necklace is awesome. I think I have that shirt. H & M is so great for layering pieces!

I already see airline ticket prices creeping up there ...
DeleteWhat a cute dress! Yikes, I am so not ready for the holidays. Every year I say I will knit scarves as gifts and to start 1 a month. It's October and I am at 0. Have a great weekend!

I can't knit and I am not at all crafty. No homemade gifts from me!
DeleteI know! I'm thinking about Thanksgiving, too. Trying to get a jump on it. Love the shoes w/the outfit.
ReplyDeleteI like the vest! But of course my favourite is the little pop of turquoise. :)
ReplyDeleteWe've already had Canadian Thanksgiving here, so Black Friday and Christmas is just around the corner...it always sneaks up on me...
I already feel behind! ;o}
DeleteAaaackk... holiday season already?!!!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the lapel dress. So unique and ... awesome!!

I know. If we don't think about it, maybe it won't ... who are we kidding, we'll just be late again.
DeleteVery cool dress, Lisa. What are these holidays of which you speak? I thought if I pretended they don't happen, they might skip me this year...lol. But the pants-stretching sounds like some holiday prep I can handle!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm a pro pants-stretcher. With a couple of squats and windmills, I'm usually ready for some epic meal time. ;o)
DeleteI love your necklaces! I suppose I have to start thinking about the Holidays as well. Boo.

Buying presents for others is the best/worst part of Christmas for me - yay for gift giving, boo for trying to figure out what to get people ... and spending my money on people other than myself, haha.
DeleteLove this look! I've never seen a dress like that before--so unique and pretty!
ReplyDeletepretty outfit lisa! i'm in holiday mode! trying to do a lot before things get too hectic. i really want to ENJOY the holidays this year. lol

What a great dress!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how you store everything. Like your jewellery... you have so much. How do you keep them so you can find them (and not forget half of them because they are in boxes)?
ReplyDeleteGreetje
I'm bad with my jewelry - I don't have a nice setup yet, but my main "storage" is a display stand (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Velvet-Jewelry-Bracelet-Organizer-Display/dp/B003U4HQKA/ref=pd_sxp_grid_i_0_1) that I pile my necklaces and bracelets on to. And I also have a horse bust that is supposed to be a decorative item, but I've piled some necklaces on that. I don't have a load of earrings or rings, so I just keep them in a little dish. I agree that I'd lose track of them if they were stored away, so I keep them on display - not the neatest method, but that way I can easily see what I've got.
DeleteI have a mannequin in my bedroom with lots of necklaces on her neck. Oh dear... if I want the bottom one.... hard words are spoken then. And they get tangled too.
DeleteIt still surprises me that the display stand and the horse bust is enough for you. I have draws and boxes with stuff next to the necklaces on the mannequin.
you look beyond cute! that dress is adorable on you!!! xo
ReplyDeleteThis outfit looks perfect on you with the bright shoes!
ReplyDeleteI really like that dress! Also that bag!
