Most of you ladies are well aware that I am fond of a good accessory - or ten. An interesting necklace or bracelet can completely change an outfit. I love trying out new baubles but I refuse to spend a fortune on them. So it was right up my alley when the lovely ladies who run Your Bijoux Box offered me an opportunity to try one of their monthly boxes.
Your Bijoux Box is a monthly mail order subscription service for jewelry. As a subscriber, you will receive two-to-three pieces of jewelry per month, at a cost of $35 per month. Each month's box is hand-selected based on the latest trends, so it's a fun surprise what you receive in each package. You can select from different lengths of subscriptions but they do auto-renew, so if you want to cancel, do so before your current sub period is up. For more info, you can read all the deets on Your Bijoux Box's FAQs page.
I've got the September box and it came with cute turquoise packaging tied up with black ribbon and each piece of jewelry was in it's own black velvet drawstring bag. I think the quality of pieces are on par with what you'd find at J.Crew Factory so the sub price is a pretty good deal considering how many pieces you get. I had fun these past few days trying out the different pieces and you can see in these pics how I've tried styling some of them.
If you ladies want to give Your Bijoux Box a try, founders Shana and Dorota have generously offered up an opp for a complimentary extra piece of jewelry in your first subscription box - just use code respect1. And there's no expiration date on the offer!

Love this green on you! What great jewelry too! I'll have to look into this.

I love me some cute, affordable jewelry! The necklace you have on with the camo jacket is gorgeous!

Fizz and Frosting
Love how you paired the orange clutch with that dress. Nice green dress.
ReplyDeleteThat dress really suits you! I wish we had a jewellery service like this one in France - accessories are such a lovely way to brighten up a look :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun subscription! I may have to give up a makeup subscription and try this one out for a bit of change.
ReplyDeleteThat green dress is gorgeous on you!
Sequins&Stilettos
I tried a makeup sub once but gave that up pretty quick. I'm not real into makeup and I was getting stuff that I literally didn't know what to do with, haha. Jewelry's easier!
DeleteGORGEOUS wrap dress and beautifully accessorized.
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of this service.
Looking gorgeous in green!

Wow you got some great stuff, I really like the peach necklace. I can see how this subscription would be great if you spend $35+ per month on jewelry already.
ReplyDeleteWow you got some great stuff, I really like the peach necklace. I can see how this subscription would be great if you spend $35+ per month on jewelry already.
ReplyDeleteWhen you consider the average price per piece of jewelry, if you buy jewelry prettying regularly, this is a great deal!
DeleteLOVE this wrap dress and green color on you -- you look so relaxed and happy! And even though you have several pieces of jewelry on, it doesn't feel like a lot when you look at the whole outfit. :)
ReplyDeleteThat green is stunning on you, Lisa! And I love how you're letting your hair grow. Super chic! I'm not an accessories gal but I could learn to be with this new business model that retailers are trying out. I had little luck with Gwynnie Bee but perhaps Bijoux Box will be better for me...
ReplyDeleteKind of intentionally letting my hair grow, kind of being lazy about getting my hair done, haha.
DeleteLove that green dress on you Lisa! It looks great with the leopard shoes!
ReplyDeleteSOunds like a really fun service! You got some great pieces!

DeleteWhat a cool idea! Love the necklace that you have on with the camo jacket!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of Bijoux Box! I don't buy jewelry enough. I want to do it, but always decide to buy another top instead. This is such a clever way to do it! Plus, it takes the guesswork out of it for you!
ReplyDeleteP.S. That green wrap dress is incredibly flattering on you!

Fashion Finds on a Dime
I know, before blogging I had like zero jewelry. But it's easier to travel with jewelry than clothes - you can wear the same shirt and change the look with necklaces!
DeleteFantastic idea. I have sent them a mail, telling them I found them through you and asking them if they ship to The Netherlands. As a Dutch saying goed: "No" is what you already have, "Yes" is what you might get.
ReplyDeleteGreetje
PS looking lovely as ever in green with the bold red/orange clutch. Cute.
If they don't ship to the Netherlands, I bet there may be a sim service in Europe.
DeleteThey don't ship to The Netherlands and no there is no similar service. This is what marketeers call: a hole in the market!!
DeleteI encouraged them to start in Europe haha.
Really love how you paired the green dress with the orange clutch and leopard print shoes. I always forget that leopard is such a versatile neutral!
ReplyDeletexo,cynthia
I know! That's probably explains why I've got several pairs of leopard print pumps but no nude ones, haha ...
DeleteI love those accessories with the green dress!
ReplyDeletecute necklaces! And love how you styled that green dress!
ReplyDeleteLove that dress, and the jewelry is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThese pieces are really pretty, but what stands out is how well you styled them. Awesome!

Thanks for the heads up on Your Bijoux Box! I am in desperate need of some jewelry, so that service sounds perfect for me.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the combination of that particular shade of green and leopard. Definitely saving this for inspiration later!
Be sure to read the terms carefully, but yeah, check them out. Plus the ladies who run the place are super-nice!
DeleteVery delicate and pretty look.
ReplyDeleteLoving those pretty pieces!! I especially love that bright orange clutch! It goes so perfectly with your green dress.

i need me some statement necklaces!
ReplyDelete-issa @ wewearthings.com
Very pretty jewelry and I now covet your batik skirt. I have never seen it before. It is gorgeous! The black bracelet is my favorite. It is bohemian and edgy. Very pretty! : )
ReplyDeleteJenni
That dress! It looks awesome on you, especially with the leopard shoes. You're killing it! The necklace that you wore with the army jacket is my favourite, or maybe it's just how you styled it, it suits you to a tee!
ReplyDeleteA subscription jewellery box is an interesting idea, doesn't seem very expensive either. I'm just not sure I'm into the idea of not knowing what I'm getting, what if I don't like it? (I'm very picky when it comes to jewellery.) The black bracelet is fantastic though!
ReplyDeleteI know, you gotta be a person who likes surprises! ;o)
DeleteQuite lovely! I am always on the lookout for awesome statement pieces as well. I don't want to spend $55 on ONE encklace. I like that you included that they auto-renew, that was very thoughtful. Thank you.
