If I didn't have this thing I go to sometimes called "work" I would pretty much live in t-shirts every single day. (Business casual environment there). My designated "t-shirt drawer" in my dresser is crammed full, but I can always make room for more, because there's no such thing as enough t-shirts, right?

So of course I jumped on it when the folks at Skip N' Whistle offered me an opp to try a tee from their collection. Skip N' Whistle is a New Orleans-based company who designs and screen prints their own tees - and they've got a plethora of quirky designs to pick from.

And when wearing a quirky tee, I figure everything else would need to have a bit more personality to make it all work - so I added a lippy necklace with bling, a mirrored purse, and some bold colors.

  3. Because only you, my fashion hero, can make tees look so elegant and sophisticated! Funny, coz I was just thinking to Google "how to bind your breasts" because my girls always make me look dumpy when I try to rock the tee, and here you are, making it work regardless. Fashion on, my friend!

  4. I can live in tees. I hate ironing and tees are so comfy. These days, there are so many varieties of tees that I can dress up and how cute it is for you to pair the necklace with the tee.

  9. Very cute - i think you rock the t shirt look.
I dont own many t shirts to be honest, i've always thought they're not dressy enough and the high neckline does not do me any favors.

  14. Too cute! What a great, casual vibe the tee lends to the outfit. I am definitely more of a "casual-wearer" and love sporty chic clothes, though admittedly, I do not own many tees!

    1. I considered a cat tee but then I wondered if I'd be thought of as a "cat poser" then since I have no cats and I'm actually really allergic to them (which is a shame, such cuties). ;o)

  17. I'm so with you on the tee shirt thing, there's no such thing as too many! This is such a great look! How is the shirt with jeans? Is it long enough? Is the material soft? I love a good tee shirt, but I'm a stickler on quality. What do you think?

    1. The tee itself is Gildan brand, 100% cotton. It hits me about mid-hip is a nice mid-weight material. I don't think I'll have a problem with random holes developing or anything. However, I believe SNW offers other tee options as well, if you're looking for more fitted, softer tees. I can't speak to those, but I'm happy with what I've got. Hope this helps!

  18. If I didn't have to work, I would never get dressed. I would be wearing pyjamas and yoga gear all. the. time. So it's probably for the best that the odds of winning the lottery are against me.
I struggle with incorporating more casual pieces into my work wear. I find I end up looking sloppy. Yours totally works though!

Again, I need some Cobalt or Royal Blue Pumps. As always your jewelry is the perfect icing to an already super gorgeous outfit cake! =)
