Fluttered Maya

fluttered maya

This blouse is different from my usual style but the print on it was too pretty to refuse. Plus the light weave is a great cool layer for warmer weather. The fluttered sleeve is also a nice bare-arms-but-not touch, though I had some trouble making it work for me - these type of sleeves are typically not too kind to the broad-shouldered. However undoing a few of the buttons along the shoulder seems to make it work - my sleeves may be extra "fluttery" now, but at least I don't resemble a linebacker in a frilly top.

  2. I purchased that exact same shirt but in a different print. I loved it but three of the buttons fell off the first time I wore it. I was able to return it but I was so disappointed that it didn't work! You'll have to let me know if yours holds up!

    1. Oh no! I haven't lost any buttons yet, but they are kind of loose on there. I may end up clipping off the button's I've left open anyways, but now that you've mentioned that, I am going to reinforce my remaining buttons.

    1. They've got a ton of sim pieces at Anthro right - and there's always Ebay as well.

(You're preggers? I'm so behind on my blog reading - congrats to you, girl!)

    1. I agree - I wish I had smaller shoulders so I could wear them like the product models do on the web site though. Aw well.

  8. Beautiful! It reminds me of all the lemony prints that Kate Spade had last year.
