Stripes on Stripes

I've seen a lot of lovely ladies on Instagram get some fab new spring hairdos lately, and as I am overdue for a cut and highlights, I am kind of itching for a change. I'm not quite sure what I want to do though - I veer towards wanting another angled bob, but it was such a pain for me to get my hair to behave when it was short. And of course, every time I go shorter, I get a major case of regrets whenever I see a gal with long loose curls or long braids. Because I do that kind of stuff to my hair all the time ... not. Sigh. The grass is always greener on the other side, right?

  2. You are a pattern-mixing queen. The doubled-up stripes are great! I am overdue for a haircut too, but since I don't make any pretense at styling it, I am eager to chop it short and get it thinned a bit.

    1. My hair is a weak point for me since in it's natural state it's kind of frizzy but I don't really do a whole lot with it except try to tame it with product. I'm still looking for that miracle stylist who can give me a fab fuss-free cut!

  3. Love the double stripes!! I got my hair cut short back in December and I love it but I do miss being able to put my hair in a bun and I need to buy a smaller curling ironing so I can curl my hair again.

    1. I know what you mean - I did the bob and suddenly saw all these cute girls with their long ringlets and I had major hair envy (because I curl my hair all the time, right ... not). ;o)

  4. Cut it short with some long layers and just get some glam time hair extensions for when you're aching for long hair. They're about $100, the website will do a color match for you and they are awesome. They are clip-ins. I saw them on you tube and debated getting them but after growing my hair out it still didn't look good long, too fine. I cut it to my shoulders and just pop on the extensions when I need some length. their website has tutorials and everything! (I'm not sponsored by them either, I just love mine!)

    1. I never thought of extensions, I should look into that - does it blend into your own hair pretty well? Are they secure enough to stay on but not that secure that you can't remove them? I'm an extensions newb!
