Nothing Basic

If you've been following my blog or IG account for any period of time, you are well aware that I adore a good accessory. I'm likely one of those people who adds more things onto their outfit right before they leave the house. It takes a lot for me under-accessorize. But sometimes an outfit doesn't need a million patterns or a plethora of layers - or earrings and a necklace and an armful of bangles. Sometimes one sparkly piece and some basic closet staples are all that are needed to make a good outfit. And this takes a helluva lot less time to put together in the morning.

  1. That necklace and sweater combo is gorgeous, as usual! I always go for simplicity (just one piece), but that's mostly out of accessorizing incompetency, it's all that I can handle...

    1. I don't know, a lot of times I think less is more and more is just more. I try not to pair big earrings with a big necklace though - even for me, that may be going too far. ;o)

  3. I'm an accessory junkie mself, but I tend to underaccessorize my outfits. Sometimes I try to make myself add one more thing before I walk out the door.:) Love this whole look!

    1. I think sometimes I need to do some more underaccessorizing. Though for me, warmer weather usually means fewer accessories - I don't like all that jewelry when it's hot out!
