Lighthouses on my Skirt

mint lighthouse

I was so freaked out about dropping the ball with the blog during this whole packing/moving/unpacking business that I made sure to be pretty diligent with my outfit pics in the weeks leading up to the big day. So much so, that it's now two weeks after we've moved into our new place and I still have a backlog of outfits from our old house to work through. Some of those outfits I really adored (like this one I am wearing now) so I hope you don't mind me showing off an ensemble a few weeks old. This outfit, features one of my fave old school J.Crew prints - lighthouses!

  1. I think it's brilliant! Being a couple of days ahead gives you some wiggle room when you're sick or busy. The skirt is adorable.

  2. This skirt is adorable, love that print! I usually have a cushion of when I take my photos to when I post them, just in case something comes up!

  3. That is a darling print! I love that it's a little abstract at first so you can't really tell what it is. So cute!

  6. You do realize that you are the only blogger on my regular feed that still manages to get me to buy things. I dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing. LOL. 'Coz when I saw this skirt on your Instagram, I just had to have it so I stalked it on eBay! :D Love the mint with it - I never would have gone that route.

  9. I totally did that leading up to my due date and then I had maternity photos until Reilly was a month old! I found it helpful though. This skirt is darling!

  10. Love the plain tee with the printed skirt! Such a nice outfit :) It's good you have past outfits to share so you don't feel pressure to blog in the middle of such a big and busy change after moving! :)

  14. I like the back logged outfits. I am already sick of seeing fall colors on the internet. Summer stuff is still making me happy. Love the necklace next to that pretty green!

    1. Shoot, girl, it's going to be hot as heck for another two months (for me at least), I can't think of wool sweaters and boots yet!

  15. I have that skirt and the belts in both pink and blue. It's a great skirt and I wish J.Crew would do more of these cute items.
Did you have your skirt hemmed? It looks shorter than mine.
I love seeing the older clothes.
Have fun organizing your new home,

    1. I didn't get it hemmed but I got the skirt from Ebay so maybe the original owner did? I'm not sure, but I do adore the skirt!

  16. Very pretty! I'm back logged too, it's so funny how you think you need to stay caught up, only to be ahead. It's a good thing though, because I haven't worn real clothes much this week in between swimming and the gym, and I'm totally ok with that :)
