Once Upon a Time. Yay, new episodes! Nothing like seeing my favorite fairytale princesses kick ass and take names in this series. (More Mulan and Red, please! Those chicks need some happily ever afters too!)

Spring weather - but, of course!

Paris Baguette. This South Korean bakery chain has opened a branch this year in my area and I am addicted! While the cronut was meh-worthly, the rest of the breads and pastries are drool-icious. I have to admit I may have made a meal of just buttery carbs more than once already.

Isaac Mizrahi shoes. Personally haven't tried a pair yet so I'm not too sure about sizing (anyone have any ideas?) but I'm having a hard time deciding on a pair - stripes and bows or rainbow-hued with bows or the cutest bowed loafers (notice a theme)?

Redbox. Seriously, where have I been? Super easy and oh so cheap way to rent movies. Call me behind-on-the-times, but I'll be making up for it now!

Easiest way to cook crispy full-flavored bacon ever. Thank you, Ina Garten, for my food baby, because now I cook the entire pack of bacon at a time.

What are you currently loving?

  6. Is it a foodie crime to say I'm not really a big fan of bacon? *ducking* I don't like pork very much in general, which is sheer blasphemy for someone with Filipino heritage. The boy cooks an entire pack of bacon at once that way, and I enjoy the smell (except when it lingers in my hair), but I don't want any. :P
Love the red and black, great combo with the necklace.

  13. This is so cute! You may just have given me an idea on how to style my own shift dress - I got the one with the bears on it from Anthro last year.
Currently loving - that it's finally spring! I'm packing away ALL my heavy woollen sweaters, but leaving out some of the thinner ones, and revelling in not having to wear tights under my trousers!
As for the shoes, I think the loafers with bows on were the cutest ones. Maybe also the most practical/versatile? ;)

  28. Love the black and white print tunic. That necklace is lovely, too ... I've been looking at similar ones on etsy for a while, but haven't bought one yet. I keep wondering whether it's just a bit too blingy and bold to wear when I work at an elementary school!
Mmm, buttery carbs ... I've always believed that they can be a nutritionally complete meal on their own! We have some delicious Korean or Japanese bakeries here, and the baked goodies can be hard to resist.

I am loving my new Burts Bees tinted lip balm in Rhubarb. It's got peppermint in it so my lips get all tingly. And the color is a light pretty red.

  37. I love Isaac Mizrahi shoes and I think they run true to size. All of my Isaac's are from his QVC line but I would imagine that they are consistent with his regular line of shoes. This is a man who knows shoes and pays attention to the art of making them. I have Tivo set up to tape his QVC shows and not only do I get entertained by him, but I get a fashion education as well.
