  3. Happy new year Lisa! I've been off work the whole time, it's been glorious! Sure I've invested a lot of time in chores & getting the house in order but just having a break from the same old routine has really reharged my batteries! No big plans for tonight, never been a huge fan of NY as we lost both my grandmothers at this time 12 & 18 years ago so it's usually a quiet time for us. Tomorrow is traditional NYD parkrun then meeting friends to take the girls to the soft play. Have a wonderful time seeing in 2013 x

  5. That necklace. Wow. LOVE!

I have an orange merino sweater I have been meaning to wear. :) I think I might be doing a similar style since you look so lovely in this outfit!

My fave memory from this holiday season is all about little Angus, since this is his first Christmas, it was wonderful to see him enjoying all his new playthings. He has so many hand-me-downs from my two oldest (which is fine, of course) that it is lovely for him to have things of his own.

Happy New Year to you, too!

  7. lol, when i read your "orange glow" title the first thing that popped into my head was an overly spray-tanned girl. one of my memorable moments just recently was seeing my grandma, who's 98, really talkative and doing well. she has ups and downs now, but its so nice when she's her old self :)

    1. My grandmother is in her upper 90s as well and it is so nice when we plan our family outings to see her.

As for me, I could probably use a spray tan or two, hehe. Though usually too much sun just turns me bright tomato red then right onto dingy brown, so I typically miss out on the whole "golden" look.
