Here's my take at transitioning for fall (I know, I know, there's probably a tad too much red going on - sometimes I can't help myself when getting dressed, though I did lose the brooch through the day). It's still pretty warm here in the SE, so I figured some darker cool weather colors in light warm weather fabrics would be a good mix to help bring in some fall.

I like your idea of darker colors in lighter fabrics if we can't actually get any fall weather yet. Today is our first 68-degree day in NC. It takes us a while to catch up :o

As you mentioned, fall seems to be everywhere, but the temperatures are still unsettled and not as cool as expected. But these are all very stylish outfits to keep! And I totally love all the red details on your outfit (especially your shoes and monogram necklace!)
