Ciao belle! I'm back home between trips for a few days so I definitely want to drop in for a bit to get blogged and play catch up. I'll be headed for France later this week, so I decided to join the 21st century this weekend and get one of these.  And so far all I've really done is play Angry Birds ad nauseum and buy my weight's worth in books. Who says high-technology is wasted on me?

In the interim, here are a few random pics from Milan - I believe I've consumed more than my fill of carbs, cheese, and red wine this past week!

  3. Carbs, cheese and red wine. Sounds perfect to me!

I am dying over those Toms wedges. I really want some! And I also want a yellow cardigan.

You look great! Welcome back! You know, for a *minute*. :)

Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet

  4. What beautiful trip photos! And now on to France - oh my. Lucky (and I bet tired) girl. :)

I adore those Target shorts and the Old Navy dress. They do not look like they came from those stores which is great. Target is really coming around.

Oh, my son loves the bathroom pic from Milan. He is obsessed with the notion of "tushy washers". Ahh, kids. LOL

  9. agh! I commented but forgot to hit post! Anyway, I love your floral shorts and am jealous your hotel had a bidet - when I was in Paris mine didn't and I was totally bummed!

  10. These pictures make me want to go to Milan sooooooo bad!! Looks like your trip was wonderful! Have an amazing time in France (jealous of that trip too!)!

  11. Those Coral Toms wedges are fantastic! I purchased the red ones. After I saw them on you and Rosa I had no choice. The only bummer is I had to order them online because the City of Toronto DOES NOT HAVE THEM IN MY SIZE!! I searched high and low this weekend. Oh well, they better hurry up and get here. Your trip to Milan looked like it was fun and I can't wait to hear about your trip to France!

  13. Katrina - haha, hilarious!

Leah - unfortunately I take really crappy pictures!

Koyu like Shoyu - haha, when my sister and her husband went to Zurich a few years ago, all they ever ate was cheese and sausage!

Ashley - I steered pretty clear from my little bidet - this is gross, I couldn't get the image of other people using it and handling the knobs, etc. out of my mind!!!! Gack!

Sweet Laundry - these shoes are hard to find, I had to order mine online too! I think Nordstroms is the only nearby store that carries Toms (wedges anyways) and they are always sold out!

Thanks, Kayla. I AM lucky, though I have a hard time believing it when I'm stuck in a tiny seat in a big metal tube for 10 hours and none of my seat power works!

  14. Eep! those are some awesome pictures! I'm glad your trip's been so good! And let's be honest, probably like 50% of the worth of an Android phone is being able to play Angry Birds and buying books, haha. I tink nobody is judging you that. =]

  15. I was just thinking "Where did she get that cute gray top" in the first outfit and then I looked and saw that it was a dress. Fooled me! Love the yellow cardi with it.

  16. Great pics!

Question for you about your coral TOMS - did yours run small? I have gray in my usual size and they fit great but with the coral they seemed to be 1/2 size smaller. And, they had spots on them. Frustrating because I want to wear them right now!! Especially when they look so cute on you! :)

  19. Mmmmm Italian food was my favorite when actually in the country. Love all of your trip photos!

  20. Mugdha - well I'm definitely getting my money's worth on Angry Birds then, haha!

MJ - actually on both pairs of Toms I own, I ordered 1/2 size up. My regular size fit, but the canvas seemed really tight and my toes were smashed. And spots? Oh no, sounds like an exchange to me! The coral is really awesome, though it is little brighter than I expected.

Jinah - oh my word, the Italian food is fantastic. I did not have one bad meal - my only complaint is that it was all too much food, I can't handle multi courses of carbs!

  21. Oh, this is making me yearn to travel overseas. Italy is at the top of my list along with Greece. Sigh, those pictures look fabulous, I hope you have lots of fun.

So, I haven't quite entered the 21st century yet with a fancy phone, but I did get a Nook recently and all I do is read and play Angry Birds on it, lol. Both the bf and I are seriously addicted, I probably never should have downloaded that darn game. :)
