Daylight is Not the Same

Happy Daylight Savings Day! Did any of you ladies partake in the Target GO International dress re-releases today? Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to my fave super-chain today, so when I got up this morning, I immediately ordered the Tracy Feith hibiscus dress and the Libertine striped tunic - hope they work out! Though I think I may be the only one jumping the gun here - everything still seems to be available online - wonder if there's been any rush in-stores?

Work's been heinous this last week and  now I'm headed off to the sunshine state for work so I apologize in advance for this week's slacker blogging and responding! Don't you worry though, I'll be back with some boring conference outfits later this week, haha.

Here are some of my cas outfits from the weekend:

  1. Those xhiliration heels are FAB. Wowza!

I am going to do a review soon of the Rodarte Lace Dress that was re-released. Even though I bought it when it was released originally, I bet there are ladies who would love to see how it fits on a non-model body. LOL. :)

Cannot wait to see your picks on you!

  2. I think I may be the only one who forgot this (target go) was going on today! I'm heading to the store after work so hopefully there wasn't a rush here.

I second dinagideon, those heels are AMAZING. I love those weekend outfits, you look effortlessly chic! Have as much fun as one can at the conference!

  3. oh well, the Thakoon printed dress I was sorta interested in is certainly gone!

I'm eager to see the libertine striped shift for you- that's a cute one (and kinda channels all those Prada stripes for spring...). Loooooove your target platforms too!

  4. Ah the first outfit is the perfect casual outfit, would love to wear that out on a weekend!

and I'm totally loving the colour of the 2nd dress. I don't mind the length of the hem on you - it's still above the knee so very flattering but I'm sure if you wanted to take it up a bit it would still work :)

  6. I have to disagree here, I think the Land's End Canvas dress looks much better on YOU! How cute is that?!

  7. Oh Lisa!....how in the world did you hear about the collection at Target?!! I had no idea! I definitely would have gone down there for sure! I was also surprised to see my pink wrap dress by Zac Posen available again. I found it on the sale rack for $5.00 when that line was going out. I only tried it on because of the price but it turned out to be very petite friendly ;) Can't wait to see the two dresses you bought!!

  9. the LE canvas dress is stunning on you! You may not be 6 foot, but you pull it off perfectly. The punchy pink colour is gorgeous on your skin tone and makes you glow.
I saw some of the Target GO Int'l items on LC's blog - the bunny print dress looked so cute!

I didn't get anything from the GO International release, but the 2 dresses you picked up look very pretty. I'll be looking forward to seeing pics of them on you. Have fun in Florida this week...it's going to be warm and sunny all week long! :)

  15. Oh, I love the colour of this second dress! The first outfit is fab too, but this second dress looks so simple and chic. I have never heard of Lands End before so I'm going to check the website because it appears they ship to Canada. Yay! Have a good work week!

  18. I went and honestly I felt like Target could have chosen better dresses. It just reminded me of why I didn't buy these dresses the first time. I personally don't think you missed out, but others may disagree with me. :)

  21. Your plaid shirt looks so comfortable -- and I bet the texture is just as soft as the corduroy on the Field Skirt. Very cute! I decided that I "needed" to go to Target tonight to pick up soda. Never mind that there was a grocery store much closer. But it gave me the chance to scope out some of the Go International pieces. Most of my favorites were already sold out (ie, that lacey looking number from Rodarte), but there was a better selection than I thought there would be.

  22. Whoops -- just realized that you're wearing an H&M skirt, not the Field Skirt. But it still looks super-duper soft ; )

  24. We don't observe daylight savings in Hawaii, but I always find it the tiniest bit exciting when I experience it on the mainland. Your little skirt looks so comfy. I want to adopt it and make it mine and fill the pockets up with snacks ;)
