I did end up breaking out my two last new purchases from Anthro (I know, I know, I just bought some stuff from them and I'm still looking for a sale to buy more?) today though, to battle the dreary overcast skies. I hadn't jumped on the Acting Out skirt bandwagon until this iteration, and I can finally see why all you gals were loving it - I was feeling kind of va-va-voom in this skirt even if I don't look it, ha! And wave hello to my first purple shirt - can we say all sorts of love here?
Top: Anthropologie Deletta Je Ne Sais Scarf
Skirt: Anthropologie Cartonnier Alluring Sway (similar online here)
Tights: UO graphic scroll (similar online here)
I'll be amongst the ranks of the still-working-a-full-day-tomorrow folks so for all your lovelies departing for your lovely turkey adventures early, have a wonderful long holiday weekend! Appreciate your families! Get loads of sale goodies - it is a good thing to spoil yourself every now and again! And of course calories don't count on Thanksgiving!

Oh my...va va VOOOM!! You look so wonderful, I just love this ensemble. I want to recreate this look.
ReplyDeleteHow does the shirt fit? I saw Sara review it but I also saw some reviews online saying it's a bit tight.
You do look vavavoom! Purple is a great colour on you! have a very happy thanksgiving weekend!
ReplyDeletegorgeous! you look fantastic, purple and grey is one if my fave combos! I am itching for the purple Je Ne Sais to arrive on the EU site. We have the other 3 colourways just not the best one...!
ReplyDeleteI just added that top to my wishlist today, I LOVE it!! You look so cute!
ReplyDeletejust looked at that skirt today when I went to pick up my butter dish! It looks awesome on you!!
ReplyDeleteyou look so great, and that purple is so wonderful on your skin tone!
ReplyDeleteI know - I was kind of deflated this morning when there was nothing I wanted from the new markdowns - maybe there will be more tomorrow? LOVE that pretty purple on you - I see lots more where that color came from ;)
ReplyDeleteVa-va-voom is right! The entire outfit looks gorgeous on you! Definitely great purchases. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a very Happy Thanksgiving! :)
Hot mama! You look great in this outfit! Super Sassy and I love that color on you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Turkey Day (early) to you!
This ensemble is gorgeous! I love the shade of purple, and the detailing on that top is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I didn't see anything I want on sale. One thing, but I'll pass for the time being. Great outfit!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure if this top could be worn with skirts or not, but I'm so glad you proved that it can!
ReplyDeleteI love your two new purchases! You are making me want that top now even more so hopefully it doesn't go on sale until after christmas so I can get it!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, you look incredible! That skirt is fabulous on you and what a FANTASTIC top! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'll be working a full day tomorrow too. Oh well, the weekend will still be a long one!
Love this outfit, Lisa! I've been on a purple streak lately too and this top is just the right shade of purple. I love how the print of the tights go well with the top's collar. Gorgeous! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cindi! I think Deletta's tops are generally smaller overall and I am usually between a XS/S in Anthro so I got this in a S. I don't think this top fits too small per se, but the material is awfully clingy!
ReplyDeleteLouise - aw no, not the purple yet? I liked the ivory/beige color too but the material is kind of sheer - with the purple there are not problems with seeing through.
Jan - I doubt there will be more sale items tomorrow but I would sure like to see some more myself, especially items from my wishlist!
Sara - Seeing how great you looked in the top reminded me (I must have a short term memory!) that I needed to break mine out too!
Melissa - You and I can commiserate together at our respective offices! At least we get a Thanksgiving weekend!
such fun poses! love your outfit girl! i need more purple in my life!
ReplyDeleteok, this skirt ROCKS! I love it and it is sitting tight on my ever-growing wish list. It seriously looks so cute on you! I love how you paired it with that top too...fabulous outfit all around! Have a great day at work tomorrow! Hope you get off early! =)
ReplyDeleteAs everyone else is saying, you DO look va-va-voom indeed. I can see why you love this shirt as much as you do. The details are absolutely gorgeous, and the deep elderberry color looks fabulous on you!
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa!! Let's just say calories just don't count from this day forward - it's almost December and that means Christmas everything..hehe
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, you look totally va-va voom - I hope you know that! Love everything about your outfit. I love how it's fitted, but not indecently tight and awkward. Your facial expressions are always super cute!
