Also meet Ashley, one of the new friends I made this weekend:
Did you gals brave the mall or Internet this weekend? What kinds of great steals have you gals indulged in for yourself?
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Lastly, for this week's Respect the Outfits reader post, let's bring on some good ole J. Crew! I don't think there's a gal amongst us without some preppy chic Crew in their closet - from the most basic of tees and button-downs to their classic cardigans and winter coats to sequin sweatpants and an ostrich feather collar.
Show some of your Crew pride and share a few of your favorite pieces in an outfit pic. You can be clad in a single fabulous piece you adore to head-to-toe Crew! Show a fantabulous glamour ensemble or how you wear Crew daily.
The post will go up on Friday - please send your pic and Crew details to respecttheshoes(at)live.com by Friday morning! Thanks so much for keeping this reader post fun going, ladies!

Marks and Spencer! Do you have one over there or did you pick that cardi up when you were over here in the UK on your recent work trip?!
ReplyDeleteHi Louise - I got this sweater at a Marks and Spencer back in February in Dubai of all places! The brand on the tag says Per Una - is that an inhouse label? I wish I had more time to go shopping in London - but the exchange rate also kills me too! ;o)
ReplyDeleteah yes Dubai has tonnes of shops, every brand seems to be heading out that way. Per Una is inhouse yep, slightly pricier than normal M&S items but less £ than the Autograph stuff which can often be very lovely. It's so funny to think you are rocking such a lovely cardi from M&S, I just buy sandwiches and underwear in there mainly but I spotted a ruffle bag a few weeks back in red, teal or purple for £28 which was gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreat style as usual Lisa. Have fun on your next trip!
ReplyDeleteYour style is great, as usual. :) I especially love the sweater in your second outfit.
ReplyDeleteI am actually probably the only girl with NO JCrew in my closet. Not one piece. I have only even looked at the store online once or twice. I can't wait to see what everyone is wearing though!
You do jeans so well! I love all of your outfits! I did some shopping and *tried* to not get too much for myself but failed!
ReplyDeleteI love that red blazer on you!
ReplyDeleteCute outfits and adorable flats! Unfortunately I didn't do any shopping for myself this weekend...but my hubby got a great deal on a drill!
ReplyDeleteHappy travels. I love your new friend, Ashley. Thanks for introducing her to me, she may be dropping past my home as well. I love all your outfits, and those boots are just GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO cute! I love that red blazer. It makes me want to buy some new blazers in fun colors!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these outfits! And love your new shoes! I did some shopping and got some stuff for myself for christmas presents. I don't really like surprises so I always pick out my own gifts that are from my husband! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Ashley flats!!! They're so cute! I love all of your outfits, you sure know how to style jeans :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute, Lisa! I should try to have fun with my poses more :) Lovvee the second outfit with the paisley top and bright belt. I wish J.Crew would slash prices more and give out free shipping codes because I'd be all over that!
ReplyDeletei love all of these looks! i like your red blazer. and also your ballet flats! :D

I love the cut of your H&M grey sweater. The oversized pockets and open detail is so unique!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those ballet flats! I had to get them! I found them on ShopNBC for 33.41 and with the code 8508 I got another 15% off, for a total of $35 with shipping!!

Hello jean-ius!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so adorable as always Lisa. Love your poses! The red blazer is unexpected, and looks terrific on your petite figure.
Those shoes are super cute. You reckon your I could become friends with Ashely too? heheh
I didn't do any shopping on the weekend. We don't have Black Friday sales here in oz. we have to wait til boxing day - 26 Dec!
Lisa,
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute. The first two sets are fabulous. Love how you layered the Black Button Down under the Red Jacket. And the rolled up jeans make the look a bit more casual. It must me warm in your parts still or you wouldn't be showing of those great legs still. Brr! It's freesing in the Central Calif. I've got my eye on that Gray sweater. It look more like a little swing JACKET. Love the thin Red belt and Black Boots. Now not that there is anything wrong with the third outfit. Those jeans look like they fit you nicely. Very flattering. And you always make little flats look so cute.
No Black Friday or Cyber Monday for me. I'm poor this week.
You are one busy gal. Please be careful. And expect me to check in with an email if I feel you have been gone too long with no correspondence forthcoming.
Lisa, you're awesome. I love all of your outfits in this post, and every time you wear that striped sweater I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteI was feeling pleased with myself because I didn't buy anything till late Sunday night, but that was after midnight, so I guess it was technically Cyber Monday, and I'm a stereotypical shopper after all... oh well.
Love the new Ashley shoes -- just adorable with the gray and yellow color combo going on! And you look so crisp and polished in your red blazer. Hope the trip goes well.
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely be raiding my Crew-laden closet to come up with a reader look. Thanks for another great feature idea, Lisa!
I really love your red jcrew jacket!! screams holiday time!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the look with the red jacket. It's dressed up without taking itself too, too seriously. Love the cuffed jeans and your bright smile.
ReplyDelete{it's definitely inspired me to create a similar look of my own!!}
Leaving the House in THIS?!?!
WOW, can I say that I'm IN LOVE with those shoes?! Ooh la la! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that H&M sweater too, oh yes I do! You look just fabulous and classy as always - love both the outfits to bits!! You are just so stinkin' cute no matter what you wear, I'm serious!!
I'm at http://bobsanddoodads.blogspot.com/ now, gal!
~ Mandy
Love ALL of these outfits! The red blazer, the pop added by the skinny belt AND that adorable striped sweater. I NEED it! :) Hope you have a great day Lisa!
ReplyDeleteOh, I really wish Ashley were my friend too - those flats are SO cute! Love all the casual looks - you look so pulled together!
ReplyDeleteYour red blazer is so cute! Perfect for this time of year. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend!

You look fantastic in the red blazer! My favourite outfit has got to be the 2nd one. : ) Great colour palette.
ReplyDeletexx The Little Dust Princess
That paisley blouse of yours is such a classic! I bet you can wear it until its all raggedy!
ReplyDeleteGo go and pack!
Aw Ady, no Crew? We'll have to get ya at another reader post!
ReplyDeleteAnon - what an awesome deal, thanks for sharing!
Patina - I ordered a half size up on mine and I think they fit me pretty well. And they didn't feel too tight behind my ankles like some of the reviews mentioned.
Laura - This fall has been the best/worst of times! I've been slammed busy! Which definitely means less time for me to sit on my butt and watch reruns of Real Housewives of Topeka or whatever city they're at by now! ;o)
Thanks for all your comments, ladies!
Love these outfits! Of course I'm super crazy for paisley, so that outfit is my fav....but the mix of the striped cardigan with the yellow and gray ballet flats rock! I'm thinking I have some JCrew outfit pics somewhere, I'll try to dig them up! Sounds like your super busy now, so props for being able to post so often!!
ReplyDeleteThat red blazer is adorable! I love that look :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping come up with a new combination today, I tried out the pattern-mixing you suggested!
Haha Love your pose in the second outfit :) And I also love your new shoes, I totally am coveting them!! I love yellow and grey shoes, but the ones I have seen are all sky high. I could totally rock these!
ReplyDeleteSecond pose in second outfit is epic!
ReplyDeleteAlso, did you roll up your jeans in the first post? You have 2 pairs of jeans listed as bootcuts. They can't possibly be that versatile, can they? Folded up and let down?
Definitely liking the cheapie boots you linked from Target too!
Hey Lisa! I missed your posts while I was gone. So glad to be catching up on other people's blogs. I love the first outfit--the red looks great on you! Hope you enjoy your work trip. xo
ReplyDeleteI love that paisley shirt in the second outfit! And the first outfit is super cute! The last outfit looks really comfortable and very cute too! I love the new friend! I hope your trip goes well! :)
ReplyDeleteHello! Your cheery face lights up my mood!
ReplyDeleteIt's icy now, and I tried internet shopping, except that all transport is down, and no deliveries are coming.. Ah well, I guess I'll have to revel in what I have now :)
love the paisley outfit and you pocket full of snacks in the next post!
