Slate Giraffes

With the long holiday weekend looming and it being a very quiet day on the e-mail and phone fronts, I'm having a difficult time concentrating on that thing I do that allows me to gnash my nails over pretty new wearables and then take them home with me. Instead I've just been virtually gnashing my nails over pretty new wearables and then meeting up with a gal pal for an afternoon ice cream treat break.

Sorry for another short post, but I've actually planned out some meals for dinner this week, which means I better get crackin' with the cooking. I'll have some pics of my version of BF's Texas Spaghetti tomorrow if it turns out!

Here's my OOTD (struggling to find good light today):

With the belt and the bracelet, just call me Jingles.

Dress: Anthropologie Maeve Slate Stripes Shift (worn here before)
Belt: Anthropologie City Safari (worn here and here before)
Sweater: Forever 21 cardigan (worn here before)
Shoes: Indigo by Clarks Edamame (worn here before)
Bracelet: Forever 21

  7. I love that dress and belt! And I'm curious to hear more about the TX spaghetti... I'm trying to think of what would make it "TX"... jalapenos? I just make plain boring spaghetti :)

  11. Hi Spiffy - I LOVE Century 21. The shoe area is like heaven - and it is kind of funny to watch all these fashionable women throwing shoes and grabbing boxes around like seafood night at some all-you-can-eat buffet.

Thanks, Cindi - I need to wear this belt more often but I feel like Miss Jingles!

Thanks, Elaine, Melanie, Natalya, Lesa, Jan and Audrey!

Hi prettyface - I think it came out real early this year, like February or something. You probably didn't notice it because it was picture unbelted, which made it look like a shapeless sack.

Thanks, LT. I'm not too sure on the name either, I think it's really just like amped up regular spaghetti, but it's got cayenne, chili powder, etc.

Thanks, Pam - didn't think that the lighting went initially - I was wandering around just frustrated I couldn't get some good light (direct sun too bright, no sun too dark, blah blah). Now I'll call it me being "arty." Ha ha.
